Hello Friends! Are you heading to Puerto Rico soon or looking to start planning your next trip? Let us help you gather some thoughts and ideas of things to do while in Puerto Rico. While there are many places to visit in Puerto Rico, we wanted to highlight some of our favorite places! One great thing about Puerto Rico, if you are United States based, is NO PASSPORT NEEDED to visit the island. Which makes traveling there a lot easier, who wants to deal with Customs when they don’t need too right!
Bacardi Rum Tour & Mixology Class
Most likely, you will fly into San Juan, so it just makes sense to start there! I would recommend purchasing tickets in advance since it’s a popular place to visit, at the bottom of the page you will see options of packages and see what is available! We have done both the Rum Tour Tasting & Mixology Class and both were so much fun, and a little buzzy 😉 Both packages include a tour and you will learn how the rum is made and the importance of the rum and the island’s history. For the tasting you will get to taste 4 different ages of Bacardi rum, along with some chocolates. We loved the Reserve, which you can ONLY buy at this Rum Factory. The mixology is just as fun as you learn to make the popular Mint Mojito and Shaken Piña Colada. My favorite was the Shaken Piña Colada! One thing that I love about this place, is we have gone multiple times and we never get bored or feels repetitive. I forgot to mention, when you show up you get a free drink while you wait for the tour to start. If you going during there busy season, they might have food trucks or other food options available. We have been during both on and off season, and although we prefer the off season to get a more personable and less crowded experience, there is something about the crowds and energy of a good time with good people.
