Welcome to our Caddo Lake State Park blog! We didn’t pick this place, but boy was it a great state park. 10/10 highly recommend. For a brief run down, the park was easy to get to and close to town if we needed anything. It was very clean and well maintained and a really great bathroom (that was heated!!). What’s So Awesome About Fort Worth? Not only is it our current hometown, but it has a rich history. One thing I love about Fort Worth is keeping it’s western Cowboy culture so prevalent in everything.  The Stockyards where they still herd the cattle through the streets of Fort Worth twice a day! There is also a more modern part of Fort Worth that has a really cool rooftop restaurant right next to Sundance Square. Vanlife: Eisenhower State Park Blog

Our first night in the van at Eisenhower State Park Located right on the border of Texas and Oklahoma, right off Lake Texoma. What was suppose to be a quick day trip to hang out with my mom turned into our first night in the van! With nothing in it but an air mattress, we survived our first night. But not really that comfortably, our air mattress had a hole. LOL. About an hour and a half north of DFW, this is a pretty nice state park to visit. The park is filled with hiking trails and really nice campsites with clean bathrooms. We ended up doing a 3 mile hike that lead to a beautiful overlook. I would recommend everyone to check out this

Why We Love Eagle Mountain Park! This is our favorite local hiking trail in the DFW area. If we want to do something that is familiar and comfortable, we will always go to Eagle Mountain Park! If you’re looking for a fun hike in the Fort Worth area, look no further than Eagle Mountain Park. One thing we love about this place is that there are 3 options for hiking, depending on what you are feeling. HI!! We're Danielle and Malcolm

We're a couple of full time remote workers looking to explore the United States in our van and the world by air. In 2024, we purchased a Ford Transit and started building out our DIY van, that will be our permanent home when completed. Between the build and our jobs, we also love to travel to new places and visit our family and friends that live all across the USA.
